Product Overview

CW-DAB Double Arming Bolts are fully threaded, hot-dip galvanized steel bolts​ designed for use in double crossarm construction​ on utility poles and transmission structures. Supplied pre-assembled with four square nuts, these bolts provide a secure and stable method for locking the spacing between two crossarms, ensuring structural integrity under heavy loads.

The bolt ends are threaded to accept eye nuts, making them suitable for dead-end and guy wire anchoring applications. Commonly referred to as D.A. Bolts​ or Double Arm Bolts, they are an essential component in overhead power line and substation construction.

Installation & Usage Notes

1. Pair Usage: Always install in pairs to “unitize” both crossarms for balanced load distribution.

2. Torque Recommendation: Tighten nuts to the specified torque value based on bolt diameter and application requirements.

3. Accessories: Can be used together with CW-EN Eye Nuts​ and CW-WA Washers​ for complete assembly.

4. Safety: Inspect galvanization and threads before installation; replace damaged bolts immediately.
